Your last full day in the bush — morning and afternoon drives with maximum effort from your ranger to tick off any remaining species on your wish list. The evening boma farewell dinner is a celebration of your safari.

After a final morning drive and breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Mozambique. Touch down in Vilanculos and transfer to your beachfront lodge. Toes in the sand, cocktail in hand, Indian Ocean before you — the change of scene is magical.

Wake to the sound of the Indian Ocean. After breakfast, board a traditional dhow for a sail to the Bazaruto Archipelago where you'll snorkel pristine coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. Keep your eyes open for dolphins and sea turtles. Return for a lazy afternoon by the pool before a sunset dhow cruise with champagne.

Today's highlight — an ocean safari to swim with whale sharks (seasonal, Nov–Mar) or a scuba dive on the coral reefs. Non-divers can enjoy kayaking, beach horse riding, or simply relax at the spa. Fresh seafood lunch on the beach.

A free day to do as much or as little as you like. Options include deep-sea fishing, a visit to the local Vilanculos market, a cooking class in Portuguese-Mozambican cuisine, or simply swinging in a hammock with a good book. Farewell dinner on the beach.

Final morning at the beach — a sunrise walk or swim before breakfast. Transfer to Vilanculos Airport for your flight home or to your next destination.
