Tour Overview

Nyungwe Forest National Park in southwest Rwanda is one of the largest and oldest montane rainforests in Africa. It's home to 13 primate species including an estimated 500 chimpanzees across several habituated groups. Your guided trek follows expert trackers through the dense forest, listening for the chimps' excited calls. After the encounter, walk the Canopy Walkway — a 200m suspension bridge 50m above the forest floor with views stretching to Lake Kivu and the Congo basin.
