Great Migration Serengeti Safari
Witness the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth

Tour Overview
Every year, over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle undertake the most extraordinary journey on Earth — a 1,800km circular migration across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem driven by the rains and the eternal search for fresh grazing. This 7-day safari positions you at the heart of this natural wonder, with expert guides who know exactly where the herds will be. From dramatic river crossings where crocodiles lurk beneath churning waters, to vast plains teeming with hundreds of thousands of animals as far as the eye can see, the Great Migration is nature at its most raw and magnificent. Between the spectacle, you'll encounter lion prides, cheetah hunts, elephant herds, and the incomparable Serengeti landscapes that inspired "The Lion King." This is the safari of a lifetime.
Your Journey
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a luxury lodge in Arusha with views of Mount Meru. Meet your safari director for a welcome dinner briefing on the migration's current position and what to expect. Rest well — tomorrow the adventure begins.
Tonight's Stay
Luxury Lodge — Arusha
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha airstrip for your bush flight to the Serengeti. Even the flight is spectacular — the Rift Valley, Ngorongoro Crater, and endless Serengeti plains unfold below. Land on a bush strip and transfer to your first safari camp. After lunch, your first afternoon game drive introduces you to the Serengeti's incredible density of predators — lion prides, cheetah families, and hyena clans.
Tonight's Stay
Luxury Tented Camp — Serengeti
A full day dedicated to the Great Migration. Your guide tracks the herds using a network of scouts and rangers positioned across the Serengeti. Spend hours among hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra as they stream across the plains, shadowed by opportunistic predators. If the timing is right and the herds are near a river, you may witness the heart-stopping drama of a river crossing.
Tonight's Stay
Luxury Tented Camp — Serengeti
The highlight of the trip — a pre-dawn hot air balloon flight over the Serengeti. Drift silently over the migration herds, hippo pools, and predator kills as the sun rises over the endless plains. Touch down for a champagne bush breakfast. After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, transfer to your second camp in a different area of the Serengeti for fresh landscapes and wildlife.
Tonight's Stay
Safari Camp — Serengeti (second location)
Morning game drive focused on the Big Five — the Serengeti has excellent populations of lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino. After brunch, visit an authentic Maasai village where you'll learn about the warrior culture, cattle herding traditions, and the remarkable coexistence between the Maasai and Serengeti wildlife. Afternoon game drive as the bush comes alive.
Tonight's Stay
Safari Camp — Serengeti
Your last full day in the Serengeti — make every moment count. Morning and afternoon game drives give you final chances for incredible sightings. Between drives, enjoy the camp's amenities or take a nature walk with a Maasai guide. Tonight's farewell dinner is a special affair under the canvas of African stars.
Tonight's Stay
Safari Camp — Serengeti
A final sunrise in the Serengeti before your bush flight back to Arusha. Connect with your international flight at Kilimanjaro Airport, or extend your stay with a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar beaches, or a Kilimanjaro trek.
