KwaZulu-Natal Battlefields & Wildlife
Walk the historic battlefields of Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift, and the Blood River

Tour Overview
KwaZulu-Natal's rolling green hills witnessed some of the most dramatic battles in southern African history. The Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 produced legendary encounters at Isandlwana, where the Zulu army achieved one of the greatest victories against a colonial power, and Rorke's Drift, where 150 British soldiers defended against 4,000 Zulu warriors. This tour combines gripping battlefield history with exceptional wildlife in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, Africa's oldest game reserve and the birthplace of rhino conservation. Visit traditional Zulu homesteads, learn about warrior culture, and enjoy Big Five game drives in between battlefield tours.
