Tour Overview

Kibale Forest National Park is known as the "Primate Capital of the World" — 13 primate species including an estimated 1,500 chimpanzees, more than any other forest on Earth. Guided chimp tracking follows expert trackers through the forest canopy, listening for the excited pant-hoot calls that signal a group nearby. When you find them, spend an hour watching their remarkable social behaviour — tool use, grooming, play, and sometimes dramatic territorial displays.
