Matobo Cultural Heritage Experience
Discover ancient San rock art, rhino tracking, and Ndebele culture in the Matobo Hills

Tour Overview
The Matobo Hills are a UNESCO World Heritage Site with one of the highest concentrations of San (Bushman) rock art in the world, some dating back over 13,000 years. This cultural safari combines the ancient with the wild. Track both black and white rhino on foot among the dramatic granite balancing rocks, explore painted caves with expert guides, and immerse yourself in Ndebele cultural traditions with visits to local villages. The Matobo Hills also boast one of Africa's highest leopard densities and the world's largest breeding population of Verreaux's (black) eagles.
