Chem Chem Lodge

Chem Chem Lodge sits on a 16,000-acre private concession that links Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara — a vital wildlife corridor used by elephants, lion prides, and seasonal wildebeest. Just eight enormous tented suites face directly onto the plains, where wildlife wanders freely past camp.

The lodge is owned by passionate French-Italian conservationists who run an exemplary community partnership programme. Activities are unique: walking safaris, fly-camping in the bush, and visits to both Tarangire (giant baobabs and 600-strong elephant herds) and Lake Manyara (tree-climbing lions, flamingos).
