Jack's Camp

Jack's Camp is one of safari's most legendary properties — a vintage Bedouin-style camp on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans, the largest salt pans on Earth. The 10 oversized canvas tents are filled with hand-knotted Persian rugs, antique campaign furniture, brass-bound trunks, and a museum-quality natural history collection.

Activities are utterly unique: walking with habituated meerkats that climb on guests, quad-biking across the pans, sundowners on the lunar-like horizon, and visits with the San Bushmen. During the green season, vast wildebeest and zebra migrations sweep across the pans.
