About The Hide

The Hide is one of Zimbabwe's most beloved safari camps — established in 1992, run by founder Tom Crocker, and famous for its private waterhole hides where guests photograph elephant herds, lion prides, and 350+ bird species at eye level. The camp's 11 luxury tents face directly onto a permanent waterhole that draws non-stop wildlife.

Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest park (14,650 km²) and home to one of Africa's largest elephant populations (45,000+). Zimbabwe is renowned for the best-trained guides on the continent — every Hide guide has the prestigious ZPGA full licence.
