12 days of unforgettable romance — witness the Great Migration, float over the Serengeti at sunrise, and unwind in a private Zanzibar beach villa.
Tanzania offers the most dramatic honeymoon in Africa. Begin in the Serengeti — 30,000 square kilometres of endless savanna where two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle make the greatest wildlife migration on Earth. Watch from your luxury tented camp as the herds cross rivers and lions stalk the plains. On day 3, float silently over the Serengeti in a hot air balloon at sunrise — champagne breakfast included on landing. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheatre teeming with wildlife, for a full-day safari. Then fly to Zanzibar — the spice island — where Stone Town's labyrinthine alleys give way to pristine white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. Your private beach villa comes with a plunge pool, outdoor shower, and nothing but the sound of waves. Snorkel coral reefs, sail on a traditional dhow at sunset, and enjoy a private seafood dinner on the sand.

Green = peak season for this safari
Peak season: June–October (Migration river crossings) or January–March (calving season). Wildlife viewing is at its best during these months when vegetation thins and animals gather near water sources.
Insider Tip: The central Seronera area is excellent year-round; follow the migration herds north to the Mara River from July
Insider Tip: Arrive at the crater rim by 6:30 AM for the best game viewing before the clouds roll in
Insider Tip: Stay on the east coast (Paje/Jambiani) for kitesurfing, or Nungwi in the north for the best sunset beaches
Yes. Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Stone Town, Zanzibar are well-established safari destinations with excellent safety records for tourists. Our local guides have 10–20 years of experience, all lodges have 24/7 security, and internal transfers are handled by licensed operators. We monitor travel advisories daily and adjust routes if needed. Over 14,000 guests have travelled with Ingwe Africa Safaris without incident.
The ideal period is June–October (Migration river crossings) or January–March (calving season). This coincides with the dry season when wildlife congregates around water sources, making game viewing exceptional. Vegetation is thinner, so animals are easier to spot. This is also the best time for hot air balloon sunrise over the serengeti. That said, the green season (November–March) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower prices — a great option for photographers.
The per-person price covers all luxury accommodation (11 nights), all meals as indicated, private game drives, hot air balloon flight, internal flights (arusha–serengeti, serengeti–zanzibar). Not included: international flights, travel insurance, visa fees (tanzania e-visa ~$50). We offer flexible payment plans and there's no deposit required until your dates are confirmed.
Vaccination requirements depend on your itinerary and country of origin. Yellow Fever vaccination is required for Kenya and Tanzania. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for bush areas. We provide a detailed health brief 60 days before departure with specific advice for your route. Always consult your travel doctor 6–8 weeks before travel.

This easy to moderate safari is suitable for most fitness levels. Game drives are in comfortable 4x4 vehicles, and walking is optional. No strenuous activity is required. The lodges are equipped with all modern comforts. We regularly host guests aged 8–80+ and can adapt the pace to your preferences.
Per-night value: From $727/night including all meals, activities, transfers & expert guiding — significantly below the $800–1,200/night average for comparable lodges booked separately.
Our East Africa specialist can tailor this 12-day itinerary to your exact preferences — dates, lodges, activities, group size.
