Namibe Desert & Coast Adventure
Where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic — dunes, shipwrecks & ancient plants

Tour Overview
The Namibe Province of southern Angola is one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes — a place where the ancient Namib Desert meets the cold Atlantic Ocean, creating a unique environment of towering dunes, fog-shrouded coastlines, and extraordinary plant life. The ancient Welwitschia mirabilis — some over 1,500 years old — dot the desert landscape like alien organisms. The coastline is scattered with shipwrecks and home to Cape fur seal colonies. Inland, the Mucubal people (related to the Himba of Namibia) maintain traditional semi-nomadic lifestyles. This is frontier travel at its finest.
