Angola is one of Africa's most expensive destinations — Luanda regularly ranks among the world's priciest cities. Budget $150–300/day for comfortable travel. Outside Luanda, costs drop significantly. The upside is that you'll have virtually every attraction to yourself.
Yes — this is an incredible combination. The southern Angolan coast (Namibe Province) connects to northern Namibia at the Ruacana border. A road trip from Lubango through the desert to Namibia's Etosha is one of Southern Africa's most epic overland routes. Alternatively, fly Luanda–Windhoek.
