Okapi Wildlife Reserve — Congo's Forest Giraffe
Track the elusive okapi in the Ituri Rainforest UNESCO site

Tour Overview
The okapi — the "forest giraffe" — is one of the world's most elusive large mammals, found only in the dense Ituri Rainforest of the DRC. The Okapi Wildlife Reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best place on Earth to encounter these extraordinary animals. Beyond okapis, the reserve is home to forest elephants, 13 primate species, and the indigenous Mbuti pygmy communities who have lived in harmony with the forest for millennia.
