Green = peak season for this safari
Peak season: April – October. Wildlife viewing is at its best during these months when vegetation thins and animals gather near water sources.
Insider Tip: Visit the V&A Waterfront at sunset and take the Constantia wine tram
Insider Tip: Sabi Sands is the leopard capital of the world — your guide will track specific individuals by name
Insider Tip: Visit the Falls from the Zimbabwe side for the best panoramic views, then cross to Zambia for the Devil's Pool experience
Insider Tip: The Chobe River boat cruise at sunset is one of Africa's greatest wildlife experiences — you'll see hundreds of elephants drinking
Yes. Cape Town, Garden Route, Sabi Sands, Victoria Falls, Chobe are well-established safari destinations with excellent safety records for tourists. Our local guides have 10–20 years of experience, all lodges have 24/7 security, and internal transfers are handled by licensed operators. We monitor travel advisories daily and adjust routes if needed. Over 14,000 guests have travelled with Ingwe Africa Safaris without incident.
The ideal period is April – October. This coincides with the dry season when wildlife congregates around water sources, making game viewing exceptional. Vegetation is thinner, so animals are easier to spot. This is also the best time for table mountain sunrise hike. That said, the green season (November–March) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower prices — a great option for photographers.
The per-person price covers all accommodation (14 nights), all internal flights, garden route vehicle & driver, all meals as specified, game drives & bush walks. Not included: international flights, visas, travel insurance. We offer flexible payment plans and there's no deposit required until your dates are confirmed.
Vaccination requirements depend on your itinerary and country of origin. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for bush areas. We provide a detailed health brief 60 days before departure with specific advice for your route. Always consult your travel doctor 6–8 weeks before travel.
Absolutely. Every Ingwe safari is 100% tailor-made. We can adjust the duration, swap destinations, upgrade or change lodges, add activities like hot-air balloon flights or gorilla trekking, and accommodate dietary requirements. Many guests extend with a beach stay in Zanzibar or Mozambique. Simply enquire and our specialists will build your perfect itinerary.
This easy safari is suitable for most fitness levels. Game drives are in comfortable 4x4 vehicles, and walking is optional. Some activities like walking safaris require moderate fitness — we'll advise on alternatives if needed. The lodges are equipped with all modern comforts. We regularly host guests aged 8–80+ and can adapt the pace to your preferences.
Per-night value: From $856/night including all meals, activities, transfers & expert guiding — significantly below the $600–1,000/night average for comparable lodges booked separately.
Our Southern Africa specialist can tailor this 15-day itinerary to your exact preferences — dates, lodges, activities, group size.
