The ultimate 14-day combo: witness the Great Migration's thundering herds on the Serengeti, descend into Ngorongoro Crater, then fly to Rwanda to trek through misty forests and sit face-to-face with endangered mountain gorillas.
This is the safari that combines Africa's two most extraordinary wildlife experiences into one life-changing journey. Begin in Tanzania where the Serengeti's endless plains host the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth — over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle on their eternal migration, pursued by lion prides, cheetahs, and hyena clans. Stay at exclusive camps that follow the herds, with twice-daily game drives and optional hot air balloon flights at dawn. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and home to 25,000 animals including the endangered black rhinoceros and vast flamingo flocks. Then fly to Rwanda — the "Land of a Thousand Hills" — where the adventure transforms from open plains to misty volcanic rainforests. Trek through bamboo and hagenia forest to sit just metres from a family of mountain gorillas — fewer than 1,000 remain in the wild. Watch the 200kg silverback regard you with gentle, intelligent eyes while juveniles tumble and play. It is, quite simply, the most profound wildlife encounter on the planet. This is not just a safari — it is the definitive African wildlife experience, blending the continent's most iconic spectacle with its most intimate encounter.

Green = peak season for this safari
Peak season: June – October (migration + dry season). Wildlife viewing is at its best during these months when vegetation thins and animals gather near water sources.
Insider Tip: Arrive at the crater rim by 6:30 AM for the best game viewing before the clouds roll in
Insider Tip: The central Seronera area is excellent year-round; follow the migration herds north to the Mara River from July
Yes. Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Kigali, Volcanoes NP are well-established safari destinations with excellent safety records for tourists. Our local guides have 10–20 years of experience, all lodges have 24/7 security, and internal transfers are handled by licensed operators. We monitor travel advisories daily and adjust routes if needed. Over 14,000 guests have travelled with Ingwe Africa Safaris without incident.
The ideal period is June – October (migration + dry season). This coincides with the dry season when wildlife congregates around water sources, making game viewing exceptional. Vegetation is thinner, so animals are easier to spot. This is also the best time for great migration river crossings. That said, the green season (November–March) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and lower prices — a great option for photographers.
The per-person price covers all accommodation (13 nights), all internal flights (serengeti–kilimanjaro–kigali), all meals as specified, twice-daily serengeti game drives, ngorongoro crater full-day safari. Not included: international flights, travel & medical insurance, tanzania & rwanda visas. We offer flexible payment plans and there's no deposit required until your dates are confirmed.
Vaccination requirements depend on your itinerary and country of origin. Yellow Fever vaccination is required for Kenya and Tanzania. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for bush areas. We provide a detailed health brief 60 days before departure with specific advice for your route. Always consult your travel doctor 6–8 weeks before travel.

This moderate — gorilla trek involves 2–6 hours hiking safari is suitable for most fitness levels. Game drives are in comfortable 4x4 vehicles, and walking is optional. We regularly host guests aged 8–80+ and can adapt the pace to your preferences.
Per-night value: From $922/night including all meals, activities, transfers & expert guiding — significantly below the $800–1,200/night average for comparable lodges booked separately.
