Journey to the third-largest national park in South Africa for an unforgettable full-day Big Five safari at Addo Elephant National Park. Home to over 600 African elephants — one of the densest elephant populations on Earth — Addo offers an intimate, uncrowded wildlife experience that rivals even the Kruger.
Your expert guide navigates the diverse terrain of spekboomveld, valley bushveld, and open grasslands in search of the Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard, rhino, and buffalo. The park is also home to the "Big Seven" when you include the southern right whale and great white shark found along the marine section of the park.
At midday, enjoy a traditional South African braai (barbecue) lunch at the main rest camp, where elephants regularly visit the nearby waterhole — sometimes just metres away from where you're eating. After lunch, continue through a different section of the park for afternoon sightings when predators become active.
