Matobo Hills Rhino Tracking Safari

Track black and white rhino on foot among ancient granite balancing rocks

5.0(48 reviews) 3 days Matobo Hills, Zimbabwe Max 8 guests

About This Tour

Matobo Hills National Park (also spelled Matopos) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its extraordinary granite balancing rock formations, ancient San rock art dating back over 13,000 years, and one of Africa's densest populations of both black and white rhino.

This safari combines thrilling on-foot rhino tracking with experienced guides, visits to the famous Nswatugi and Pomongwe cave paintings, and exploration of the dramatic "Worlds View" where Cecil Rhodes is buried. Matobo also has one of Africa's highest leopard densities, plus Verreaux's eagles nesting on the granite kopjes.
