The Serengeti, Kilimanjaro & Zanzibar — Africa's Triple Crown
Why Visit Tanzania?
Tanzania holds Africa's triple crown — the Serengeti (home of the Great Migration), Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest peak), and Zanzibar (the spice island paradise). Add in the Ngorongoro Crater — the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural amphitheatre for Big Five viewing — and Tanzania offers arguably the most diverse travel experience in Africa.

Tanzania Safari — FAQ
The Serengeti is vastly larger and has the migration for more months of the year. The Mara has more concentrated river crossings. Ideally, do both!
No technical climbing required — it's a long trek. The 7-day Lemosho route has the highest success rate (~95%). Fitness and acclimatization are key.
Absolutely — this is the classic Tanzania combo. Fly from the Serengeti or Arusha to Zanzibar in about 90 minutes. Most travellers do 5–7 days safari + 3–4 days beach.
The famous Mara River crossings in the northern Serengeti typically happen between July and October. Timing varies each year — July and August are the most reliable months.
